Our Story
Chantal and Cheyne met surfing in Santa Cruz, California in August 2015, where Cheyne had a surf school and Chantal took surf lessons. They both lived in California during that fall and became good friends and would often surf and party together. A couple of years later, Cheyne asked Chantal to come back out to California. They split a flight ticket for Chantal to come out on the 29th of March 2019 and that was the start of an endless adventure.

Cheyne and Chantal started a long distance relationship between California and Sweden. They met up approximately every other month for one and a half years in different countries around the world; Mexico, Puerto Rico, California, Portugal, Sweden, Greece and Thailand.
As covid hit the world, distance relationship became trickier. During this period, they spent their time together in Mexico, California, Kansas, Vermont and Texas.
In the fall of 2020, Chantal and Cheyne moved to Ericeira, Portugal, where they lived for six months until they moved to Paul Do Mar, a small fisherman village on Madeira, for two months.
In the summer of 2021, they eventually moved to Bordeaux, where they have lived together since. In January 2024, they got a beach house in Cap Ferret, an hour from Bordeaux, where they spend most their time surfing and enjoying life (when they are not in Bordeaux..).
On the 22nd of March 2024, during a lovely Friday drink on the beach in Cap Ferret, Cheyne asked Chantal to marry him. She said yes and here we are!
